It also looks at some of the challenges experienced by children and family left behind. STAINS gives an overview of the history of incarceration and how we evolved into this crisis. Produced over 10 states, the film captures the opinions of a cross section of people about how to remove the stain of incarceration from the lives of millions. The film takes a look at a few programs that are providing support across the country while calling attention the the need for so much more. STAINS makes a call to action for America to rally around this often forgotten population.
